Shallow slope, not much good for paragliders.
Car parking area is on the B4329 at the head of the pass. This is National Park land so no vehicles more than 15m off the road. Head east along the fence - it's a bit of a hike with a hang glider.
No specific area. There is plenty of room on unfenced moorland, but it could be a long walk out.
The carry to take-off is the main restriction. Otherwise it is a large area of moorland supporting a few sheep and feral ponies with nothing much to hit except the ground. Ideal for novices.
